Happy Easter everyone! I hope all of you are having a joyful Easter Sunday with your family and loved ones! I live far from my family, so I sadly don’t have the pleasure of spending Easter with them this year. But I thought- why not blog an Easter-themed beauty post about Easter makeup!
Easter is a fun holiday when you’re a youngster. Scavenging backyards for those treasured eggs, eating chocolates and candies (my personal favorite was the Cadbury mini eggs!), and enjoying the holiday break off from school. But, Easter can be a blast as an adult as well! Specifically when it comes to dressing and dolling yourself up in Easter wear!
Today, I’m sharing my Easter makeup look with ya’ll. I’ve always been skeptical to wear pink eye shadow, instead choosing to stick with neutrals (gold, brown, black, etc.). Yet, Easter is the perfect occasion to opt for a lighter eye shadow. Easter dresses are usually either floral, pastel, or white; so, pink eye shadow is the perfect makeup to pair with your Easter wear (ooh, I rhymed!).
I used the below eye shadow shades from the Naked 1 Palette. I know that the Naked Palette is a staple in most women’s’ makeup collection; but if you don’t have the palette, it is sold at Ulta, Sephora, and major department stores (Nordstrom, Macy’s).
Easter Makeup Look
To start, I put eye shadow primer on my eyes. Then, I used the Toasted shade on my lids, the Sin shade just above my creases, the Buck shade for the creases, and Virgin on my tear ducts.
Afterwards, I lined my eyes with black liquid eyeliner.
I completed my eyes with false lashes and coated them with mascara.
And voila! All done and looking Easter ready!
I completed my look with a frosty pink lipstick.
I love this makeup look so much– it’s polished but light, so it doesn’t look like you’re wearing a ton of makeup. Definitely a go-too look for Spring and Summer!
And for those who are curious on which outfit I wore- I wore a white lace romper (bought from Express last year) with white wedges (also from Express). Forgive the mirror pic- I had to get creative since I didn’t have anyone to take the photo for me today!
Below is a list of all the products I used for my makeup.
